Am I Here? Are You There?

I've installed a couple of ways to make it easier for you to keep up with my blogs. And if you are reading, I wouldn't mind some feedback.
The low tech option is to receive blog updates via email. Find the email box in the right column, enter your address, and bonk the button.
The nifty high tech option is the RSS feed, which I'll try to explain in a moment.
And if you are reading (and some of you have actually admitted to this), I wouldn't mind a comment once in a while, using the Leave Comment link or the box at the bottom of the item. As we say in show biz, it "dresses the house".
Now about that RSS thing. I'm pretty new to this, so will explain to the limit of my understanding. If you know more than me (which is quite likely here), please help out with a comment below. (Sly, me.)
RSS is a way of gathering and showing you a list of recent postings from various sources. If you have a Yahoo, Google or similar home page, it's just like the news headlines, except that you choose the sources from any web pages displaying the orange RSS logo.
AFAIK, there are three ways for you to view RSS feeds. There are RSS reader programs you can download, and Internet Explorer has a Feeds tab under Favorites.
But the coolest way is to add my blog headlines to your Yahoo or Google home page. If you use the Firefox browser, just click the RSS logo in the upper right corner of this page and follow the instructions, choosing your home page or RSS reader.
If you use Internet Explorer, there are a few more steps. Here's how it's done for My Yahoo:
Right click the orange RSS logo. Choose Copy Shortcut. Now go to your home page and click Add Content. Choose Add RSS Feed, paste into the URL box, and click Add. My recent headlines should now appear in your news listing.
In My Yahoo, you can use the Options - Settings pulldown at the top of the headlines to fine tune what is displayed. The blog window can be moved by dragging the top bar.
Well, that's as much as I know. Help me out if you can.
